Gammelgarn
Erected during 14thc. Beside the church is a "castal" fr. 12thc. The "tower" formerly an older Romanesque church, was fitted with a ridge turret 1755. The nave is a beautiful example of High Gothic architecture. Portals with particularly drastic sculpture. Murals fr.15thc. Font base 13thc. with bowl 14thc . Pulpit 17thc..
